A rare GT2...

This TOYOTA SUPRA GT2 was developed in France by Jean-Pierre Signoret and Jacques Point to compete in the FFSA French Championship from 2002 to 2006. Over the years it has evolved to reach a high level of performance. It has been fitted with a number of GT500 parts, including bodywork, central-nut hubs, AP racing brakes and 18-inch Enkei wheels.

Weighing in at 1,200kg, this SUPRA GT2 is powered by a 3-litre twin-turbocharged TOYOTA 2JZ-GTE engine. The engine preparation and mapping were developed by TEAM4, the workshop in charge of the car in collaboration with ORECA. Magnetti Marelli is in charge of the electronic management, while ORECA MOTEUR has developed the various maps in order to offer performance levels adapted to the conditions of use (qualifying, race, wet track, etc.).

The fine-tuning of this rare GT2 was then entrusted to Soheil Ayari, who used all his expertise to fine-tune this SUPRA GT2.

 

... and high performance

In 2019, the TOYOTA SUPRA GT2 was entered in the Racing Legends Endurance races (Peter Auto) and proved to be a top performer. At the Spa Classic, where conditions were damp, it set a best time of 2.376 minutes. At Monza, it clocked a time of 1.546 minutes and at Le Castellet it was under 2.04 minutes. In the final race weekend of the 2019 season, the car won the Endurance Racing Legends class at the Dix Mille Tours du Castellet.

In 2021, in the support race for the Le Mans 24 Hours, this TOYTA SUPRA GT2, Soheil Ayari, set a best lap of 4'05, on a par with the GT1s of the same period and well ahead of the other GT2s in the field.

 

The car is sold with a large number of parts including suspension, wishbones, hub carriers, bearings and brake discs. Numerous body panels are also included. Viewing by appointment.
