With 33 participations in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and four victories, Henri Pescarolo is a legend of the most famous endurance race in the world.

In 2000, he set up his own stable and entered in competition Courage which were built at Le Mans. From 2007, PESCAROLO SPORTS builds its own cars equipped with JUDD engine. That same year, as the company encountered financial difficulties, it was bought by a French duo made up of Jacques Nicolet (OAK RACING) and Joël Rivière (Prestige Racing).

In 2007, the PESCAROLO 01/005 that we are pleased to offer for sale climbed to 3rd place at the 24 Hours of Le Mans driven by Emmanuel Collard, Jean-Christophe Bouillon and Romain Dumas. This performance is all the more remarkable as this year, AUDI and PEUGEOT were engaged in a merciless war to win the Mancelle race.

A well-known history including three participations in the 24 hours of Le Mans

During 2007, this PESCAROLO 01/005 LMP1 participated in the "Le Mans Serie" championship where it scored many points. In addition to her third place at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, she climbed to second place in the general classification in the 1000 km at Spa and the 1000 km at Silverstone. A third place is also acquired at the end of the 1000 km of the Nürburgring.

In 2008, she was entered by "Saulnier Racing" in the "Le Mans Serie" championship in LMP1 and still powered by the JUDD V10. She then participated a second time in the 24 Hours of Le Mans where she climbed to 26th position with the crew composed of Richard Hein, Jacques Nicolet and Marc Faggionato

In 2009, this time equipped with a turbo MAZDA engine, this PESCAROLO was modified and named "Evo1" by Team OAK RACING and ran  now in LMP2.

At the 1000 km de Catalunya, she achieved a 12th place. It is again engaged in the 24 hours of Le Mans with at its wheel: Richard Hein, Jean-François Yvon and Jacques Nicolet where it is positioned in 20th position.

In 2010 and 2011, still under the colors of OAK RACING, this chassis will be equipped with a JUDD V8 engine.

At the end of the year 2011, the PESCAROLO 01/0005 was completely restored by the OAK RACING team in its configuration of the 24 hours of Le Mans 2007 and the JUDD V10 GV5 engine was reinstalled after being overhauled by JUDD.

Many parts can accompany the sale of this historic car, since the seller has both a large stock of parts and his teams can remanufacture new parts.

This PESCAROLO is therefore an ideal car for the collection or to participate in the 24 hours of Daytona Classic.
